I love the beauty of the natural world. Photography is a natural outflow of that love. If I can get outside on a warm summer day and take a few hundred photos of wheat fields, mountains, and hawks, I have had a fulfilling day. Of course, nothing really compares to being out in it yourself. No matter how good one is at manipulating photos digitally, there's no possible way to reproduce a Montana sunset or the humbling feeling one gets gazing up at the snow-capped Spanish Peaks from a mountain trail. My photography is a feeble attempt at expressing the love I have for the natural world and the beauty of God's creative handiwork.

Of course, taking photos is more than just a nice hobby. The shots I take benefit not only my soul but also my customers. Most graphic design or web development firms will purchase the rights to use professional photographs from online sources or catalogs. Many of these photos run several hundreds of dollars per piece. I use my photography whenever possible and suppliment it with the online royalty free photo memberships of which I'm a part. The result: No extra expense to my customers.
